We aim to reply to all enquiries within 5 working days, and always within 30 days for data-protection requests as required by UK GDPR.
Supplova Pro is £39.99/year or £5.99/month (the App Store shows your local price before you buy). Where offered, Pro starts with a 7-day free trial — if you don't cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid, auto-renewing subscription. There's also a Free plan that's genuinely free forever. Billing is handled by the Apple App Store and managed through RevenueCat; we never see your card details.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us. To cancel, open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Supplova, or go to App Store → your profile → Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then.
Because Apple processes all in-app payments, refunds are handled by Apple under their standard policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't process card refunds directly, but email us if something's gone wrong and we'll help.
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and associated data within 30 days (payment records are kept for 7 years as required by UK tax law). You can also email [email protected] to request deletion.
Yes. You have the right to a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format. Email [email protected] and we'll provide your supplement history and health data.
Connect Apple Health from within the app with explicit consent. Supplova reads your Apple Health data read-only through HealthKit — primarily your sleep and resting heart rate, plus activity such as steps — to correlate against the supplements you take. We never write your data back to Apple Health (other than your own logs) and never share it without your consent. You can disconnect at any time in Settings.
The daily check-in is a quick self-rating of how you feel — your energy, sleep, soreness and mood, each on a 1–5 scale. It takes seconds, and it gives Supplova something to line your supplements up against alongside your Apple Health data.
Supplova looks at the supplements you take and your own data (your check-in, sleep and resting heart rate) and shows whether there's a signal — a pattern in how things line up over time. Important: a signal is a correlation from your own data, not proof of cause. Lots of things affect how you feel, so treat it as a starting point for a conversation with a professional, not a verdict that a supplement "works".
The AI Coach is a chat, powered by Claude (Anthropic), that can answer questions about your own data. When you consent, Supplova sends it a summary of your data — your stack, recent logs, sleep and resting-heart-rate trends, and per-supplement result summaries — so it can respond in context. We never send your name, email or account ID, and your health data is never sold or used to train third-party models. You can withdraw AI consent any time in Profile → Privacy → AI features, which turns the AI features off while the rest of the app keeps working.
Point the scanner at a supplement label or barcode and Supplova reads the text, sends it to the AI for analysis, and looks it up in public product databases — the NIH Dietary Supplement Label Database (DSLD) and Open Food Facts — to identify the product and check its doses and forms. Only the label text or barcode is used for those lookups — never your health data.
Add, edit or remove supplements any time from your stack in the app, including each one's dose, timing and how often you take it. Log each dose as taken or skipped to build your history and give the results something to work with. Removed supplements stop being tracked going forward.
No. Supplova is a general wellness and supplement information app — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The patterns and AI content it shows are signals from your own data, not proof of cause, and AI responses may contain errors and are not reviewed by medical professionals. Always consult a qualified doctor or pharmacist before changing your supplement routine, and report any adverse reaction to the MHRA at yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk.
You must be 16 or over to use Supplova. We use a date-of-birth check at registration.
